Organising studies abroad
Organisation of studies in a foreign country
When planning studies as an exchange student in a higher educational institution of a foreign state or an internship abroad, it should be borne in mind that these form part of the studies at the Academy: studies will not stop at the EAMT during your stay abroad and your performance in a foreign university affects your completion of the study load at the Academy as well as your academic success. Therefore, it is very important to clarify the rules regulating studies in a foreign state in Rules of Organisation of Study, as well as rules for choosing subjects and deciding which subjects are suitable for the curriculum to which the student is matriculated. Same rules apply to all students going to study in a higher educational institution of a foreign state, regardless of whether they go on their own initiative or as part of a partnership program.
All students going to study abroad must draw up a study plan and conclude a study agreement before the start of their studies in a foreign country. Please keep in mind that students going to study at a higher educational institution of a foreign country for three months or more have an obligation to complete subjects in the amount of at least 15 ECTS credit points per semester during their studies or internship and apply for their acknowledgement as part of completing the study load of their curriculum at the Academy.
